Job summary

Compass Group USA in Bismarck, ND is seeking an On-Call Catering Attendant to deliver and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the catering captain. You may drive a catering delivery truck, set up/serve at events, and handle cleanup, returning leftovers and equipment on time.

Flexibility is required for evenings and weekends with an on-call schedule; prior catering experience is not required. Valid driver’s license and state-permitted certifications may be needed.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must possess or obtain a valid food handler’s permit where required by state law.
• Alcohol servers’ permit where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assembles and delivers all food and supplies for catered functions to scheduled locations.
• Logs and maintains food temperatures.
• Arranges tables and decorations and buffet setup according to standards.
• Serve food and beverages to guests and ensure service quality.
• Thoroughly cleans location after events and returns equipment to the facility.
• Distributes and collects guest feedback cards for catered functions.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment and knowledge of menu items.
