Job summary

Chartwells K12, part of Compass Group USA, is hiring an on-call Cashier/Food Service Worker for Fremont Public Schools in Fremont, MI. You will operate the POS system, assist the chef, and keep stations clean while serving customers during varied shifts.

The role prefers prior cashier/food service experience, with a 7:00 am to 2:00 pm window and training beforehand. Online applications only.

Qualifications

• Prior cashier or food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Point of Sale system and cashiering.
• Assist the Chef and prepare coffee.
• Prepare foods and catering orders as needed.
• Keep cashier and coffee stations clean and organized.
• Maintain cash accuracy and deposits at end of shift.
• Inventory and restock supplies; monitor temperatures.
• Serve items in all retail areas and support line service.
