Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group is seeking an On-Call Carpentry Technician in the United States to manage cue tracks and maintain stage and backstage areas. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, safety awareness, and the ability to work with multiple departments under the artistic schedule.

The ideal candidate has at least one year of professional stage carpentry experience, advanced tool skills, and fluency in English.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
At least one year of experience as a professional Stage Carpenter on large-scale productions.
Experience as a run crew technician and running show cue tracks.
Advanced power and hand tool skills.
MS Office proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Welding certification or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Run cue tracks to position scenic elements and equipment for performances, training, and maintenance.
Maintain stage and backstage areas and inspect/repair equipment.
Update maintenance and inspection records and related documentation.
Assist with inventory and project execution, including new show elements.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure safe training, rehearsals, and shows.
Follow OSHA regulations and participate in safety training.
