Job summary

Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group in Hawai‘i is seeking an On-Call Carpentry/Props Technician to support the Carpentry & Props Team. The role runs cue tracks, maintains and inspects stage equipment and props, records maintenance, and collaborates with other departments to meet daily show needs.

Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends is essential. The ideal candidate has at least one year as a professional Stage Technician, experience with wood/metal construction, and proficiency

Qualifications

At least one year of experience as a professional Stage Technician on large-scale productions.
Fluent English written and spoken.
Ability to analyze problems and find practical solutions.
Willingness to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

Run cue tracks to position scenic elements, props, and related equipment for performances, training and maintenance.
Inspect, maintain, repair stage equipment and props; update maintenance records.
Maintain cue track documentation and participate in rotation to run performances and rehearsals.
Assist with inventory and communicate needs to Lead.
Ensure equipment knowledge for safe operation and participate in special projects as assigned.
