We are looking for a Terrific Caregiver to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. Must be available for most evenings and weekends. It is a very satisfying and rewarding role, as people who are ill, injured, disabled, or elderly are thankful for high-quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients.

The on-call caregiver position involves filling last-minute requests from new and existing clients, as well as back-filling for call-offs.

This position requires a talented Nurse's Aide who can adapt quickly to any situation, both from a skill and personality perspective. A basic requirement is that on-call caregivers must respond and go when called, regardless of shift length or client preference.

Requirements:

• COVID vaccinated
• Willing to work in homes with cats and dogs
• Experience with Alzheimer's/Dementia, gait belts, & Hoyer lifts
• Geographically flexible for 4-12 hour shifts anywhere we have clients
• Willing to drive up to 50 miles to clients' homes
• Open to day shifts starting at 8am through 9pm
• Respond well to last-minute changes
• Willing to work with male or female clients
• Quick response times when contacted by the office, via text or phone call
• Able and willing to leave within 60 minutes of being called to a shift
• Willing to drive or Uber during bad weather
• Available to work holidays when scheduled
• Reliable transportation and willingness to drive clients
• Excellent team player, flexible, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable with minimal interruption
• Comply with all company policies and the Ohio Department of Aging Code of Ethics
