Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must pass background investigation.
• Ability to type and operate a computer terminal.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
• Experience communicating with university personnel.

Responsibilities

• Monitor CCTV cameras and security systems for alarms and intrusions.
• Verify safety of university buildings and property; protect against damage and theft.
• Report equipment malfunctions and suspicious activities; coordinate with security staff.
• Assist in investigations of fires, crimes, and other incidents.
• Maintain communication with Communications Center and law enforcement as needed.
