Job summary

Bennington College is seeking per diem Campus Safety Support Staff to assist the Campus Safety team as needed. This role covers Officer, Dispatcher, and Van Driver duties on an on-call basis to support campus safety and transportation.

Candidates will respond to incidents, monitor facilities, assist with safety outreach, and help maintain a secure, welcoming campus environment for students, staff, and visitors.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in campus safety, customer service, or transportation is favorable.
• Strong communication and crisis management skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Conduct proactive patrols and monitor campus spaces for safety and security.
• Respond to incidents and coordinate with emergency services when needed.
• Operate asDispatcher and/or Van Driver as required by shift.
• Maintain dispatcher logs and document incidents accurately.
