Job summary

Many Rivers Whole Health is seeking an On-Call Behavioral Health Group Home Worker in Helena, MT. You will be part of a therapeutic team operating a 24-hour group home, assisting residents with daily living activities and supervising the house.

The role requires a valid MT driver’s license, ability to transport clients, and willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays. You’ll support medication monitoring with a licensed nurse, complete probation medication training, and participate in

Qualifications

• Must have MT Driver’s License and vehicle with insurance.
• Ability to transport clients.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• One year of experience serving persons with severe disabilities or CNA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in daily living activities in the group home including procurement of food, meal preparation, care and maintenance of the house and grounds, and supervision of residents.
• Assists clients in problems relating to daily living activities.
• Performs crisis intervention.
• Assist psychiatric nurse in medication monitoring for transitional home clients.
• Must complete and pass the medication training test within initial probation period.
• Assists with distributing prescribed medications.
• Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients in accordance with Many Rivers policy.
• Coordinates socialization and recreational activities for clients.
• Assists with transporting clients to Day Treatment Monday through Friday and participates in Day Treatment activities.
• Must have a valid MT Driver’s License, personal vehicle, and current insurance.
• Participates in activities with clients.
• Participates in in-service training as directed by immediate supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
