Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an on-call bartender at the University of Maine at Orono to provide friendly, fast service and craft drinks for guests.

You’ll work varying shifts, part-time, with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork with servers. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 0–1 year of experience; must be of legal age to serve alcohol. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience.
• Ability to prepare a wide range of beverage recipes and mix drinks correctly.
• Must meet minimum age to serve alcohol per applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Receive guests, mix and serve drinks with and without alcohol, and craft recipes with appropriate garnishes.
• Ensure the bar area is fully stocked with tools and products needed to mix drinks and serve customers.
• Prepare accurate opening counts and issue inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies.
• Bar staff must be courteous, diplomatic, and attentive when dealing with customers.
• Ability to walk or move around for extended periods during shifts.
