Job summary

The Cosmopolitan at MGM Resorts International in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an on-call Barista/Fountain Worker to deliver friendly, personalized service at Starbucks and other Quick Service outlets. You will craft beverages and food items, handle cash with care, and keep the front and back of house clean while supporting openings and closing duties.

Starting rate is $17.0311 per hour plus tips; prior food-handling experience is preferred, and candidates must be 18+ and able to work varied on-call

Qualifications

• 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience as a food handler in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to work varied, on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently.
• Handle cash following proper procedures.
• Maintain front/back of house cleanliness and dining area.
• Pack orders with condiments per guest preference.
• Label and date products per safety procedures.
• Perform opening/closing duties as scheduled.
• Stock orders and replenish products as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority or refer to management.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
