Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking an on-call Barista/Fountain Worker for The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas. You will craft beverages and foods, provide friendly, personalized service, and support Starbucks and other Quick Service outlets as business needs require.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, 1+ year food handling in a busy setting, and flexibility for on-call shifts. Perks include wellness programs, discounts on hotel, F&B, and entertainment, free meals, and parking.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work varied, on-call shifts.

Responsibilities

• Take and place orders and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately.
• Collect money, with proper cash handling.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front and back of house; clear tables and counters; sweep dining area.
• Pack and complete orders as per guests' preferences with condiments.
• Label and date products per safety procedures.
• Perform opening and closing duties per shift.
• Stock and replenish products, unload warehouse orders as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within authority; escalate as necessary.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
