Pay Range: $16.50/hr – Minimum Wage Position plus Service Charge/Gratuities. The Banquet Bartender is responsible for providing the highest quality service to guests and servers and maintaining the Silverado Resort Standards of cleanliness and sanitation while following the requirements of the Banquet Event Order.
Essential Functions

- Must participate in all resort required meetings and trainings.
- Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines.
- Must have thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
- Must be able to attend all resort required meetings and training.
- Maintain compliance with Silverado Resorts’ pouring standards.
- Adhere to Silverado Resorts cash handling policy.
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which includes wearing the proper uniform/business attire and nametag.
- Comply with Silverado Resort Standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient resort operations.
- Adhere to the Banquets schedule at all times.
- Maximize efforts towards productivity, identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.
- Must be efficient in responding to the guests’ needs and be able to solve complaints effectively.
- Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Set up the events according to resort standards and Banquet Event Order to ensure that guests are served promptly and efficiently.
- Report broken and damaged equipment.
- Prepare beverages and cocktails according to the resort’s mixing and presentation standards.
- Maintain bar storage area clean and organized.
- Serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
- Set up and break down the bar after the completion of functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment according to the resort’s standards.
- Follow all state liquor laws.
- Know the menu items for each function served and be able to give accurate descriptions and potential allergens.
- Abide by all resort policies and safety rules.
- Perform other duties as requested by management.
Qualifications
- In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required.
- Must be able to work under pressure in a faced paced environment.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
Working Conditions & Schedule
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
- Medium work - Exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally (and/or with assistance), and/or frequently or constantly lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing 20 pounds.
- Must be able to stand and work for extended periods of time during customary service hours.
- Must be able to bend, stoop or reach as needed.
- Must be able to work in an outdoor environment with varying temperatures.
- This role requires operating a golf cart.
