Job summary

SPIRE Hospitality LLC, a nationwide hotel management company, is seeking On-Call Banquet Servers and Banquet Set-Up Associates at Renaissance Minneapolis Bloomington Hotel. You’ll support event setup, serve guests, and maintain polished spaces during meetings and celebrations.

Prior banquet experience is helpful but not required; flexibility is essential for on-call shifts. Join a energetic team focused on delivering memorable events.

Qualifications

• No prior banquet experience required.
• Stand and walk for long periods.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Lift up to 25–30 pounds; occasionally 50 pounds.
• Follow food safety and responsible alcohol service requirements.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with friendly, professional service.
• Serve food and beverages during meetings, banquets, celebrations, and other events.
• Follow event details and the Banquet Captain’s directions to ensure consistent service.
• Refill beverages and anticipate guest needs throughout the event.
• Clear plates, glassware, and service items between courses and after events.
• Assist with side work, stocking, and preparation before and after functions.
• Set meeting and event spaces according to event specifications.
• Arrange tables, chairs, linens, glassware, service ware, and other event equipment.
• Break down events and reset rooms for the next function.
