Job summary

1 Hotel Austin, L.L.C. is seeking dedicated banquet servers to set up, serve, and break down banquet events in accordance with hotel standards. You will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in banquet areas, assisting with room turns, and ensuring excellent guest service.

The ideal candidates should possess prior serving experience, strong communication skills, and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment. Additional responsibilities include managing banquet supplies and maintaining high standards of presentation.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer-service skills are essential.
• Prior serving experience in a hospitality setting is required.
• Food handling certification is preferred, can be obtained during employment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, serve, and break down banquet events per the Banquet Event Order.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of banquet spaces.
• Assist with room turns to prepare for subsequent events.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with guests and colleagues.

Prior serving experience

Organized and proficient at multitasking

Reliable team player willing to learn and adapt

Strong communication and customer-service skills

Capable of lifting at least 50lbs

Proficient in verbal and written English

Able to stand for long periods
