Job summary

Jonathan Club in Santa Monica is seeking an On-Call Banquet Server for part-time events at our Beach and Town clubhouses. You will assist in event setup, serve food and beverages, and maintain service areas with a focus on high-end guest experiences.

Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in a luxury hospitality environment, be flexible with days, nights, weekends and holidays, and maintain a neat, professional appearance. Our no-tipping policy applies to this role.

Description

The On-Call Banquet Server is responsible for the following:

• assist in event preparation and set-up
• serve food and beverages during events
• perform table and buffet maintenance as appropriate
• maintain full knowledge of menu items
• comply with safe workplace cleanliness and safety standards

Requirements

• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Have a positive attitude, be dependable and maintain a neat, clean, well-groomed and professional
• Ideal candidates have a minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Food Server, Food Runner, Busser, or Bartender in a high-end, large volume Private Club or Hotel
• Must be a team-player and work in a fast-paced and focused environment

Pay Rate: $20.00/hour
