Sonesta is seeking an on-call Banquet Bartender at Royal Sonesta Chase Park Plaza in St. Louis, MO. You will set up and run banquet bars for weddings, meetings, and events, crafting cocktails and delivering welcoming service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have bartending experience, strong knowledge of beverages, and customer-focused communication. Flexible evenings and weekends are required, with opportunities to upsell and contribute to memorable events.

Qualificações

• Previous bartending, restaurant, hotel, lounge, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and responsible alcohol service.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions accurately.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, holidays, and event support as needed.
• TIPS Certification, Food Handler Certification, or alcohol service certification preferred where required.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and break down banquet bars according to event requirements and hotel standards.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences.
• Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests and making recommendations.
• Review event orders to understand bar setup, guest counts, and timing.
• Maintain knowledge of cocktails, wine, beer, and spirits; ensure safety and service standards.
• Assist with glassware, stock replenishment, and opening/closing duties.
