Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in athletic training or related field is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
• BOC certification and Hawaii athletic trainer registration are required.
• Emergency cardiac certification (AHA/Red Cross) or BLS for healthcare providers.

Responsibilities

• Provides on-site athletic training services at games and practices.
• Conduct and document initial injury evaluation and provide direct care to student-athletes.
• Administer medical care under the Medical Director's guidance.
• Work with coaches to monitor student-athlete health.
• Supervise the athletic training room and maintain equipment.
• Provide training for coaches and athletes on prevention and rehabilitation.
• Travel with teams to state tournaments and other events.
