Job summary

A leading environmental consulting firm is seeking On-Call Archaeological Field Technicians in Northern California. The role involves monitoring construction activities for archaeological matters and requires a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, along with experience in archaeological fieldwork. Candidates must be able to commute and have a valid driver’s license. Compensation ranges from $26.85 to $37.59 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of six months of field experience or relative academic field experience in Northern California.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to walk long distances carrying up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Monitor construction activities and identify archaeological and/or paleontological resources.
• Write and maintain daily survey, monitoring, recordation, and cataloging logs.
