Serrato Corporation is seeking an on‑call instructor to provide substitute teaching across Reading, Mathematics, CSS, Health Education, Driver's Education, or HSD/HSE. The role focuses on maintaining engagement, discipline, and strong student rapport while coordinating with career tech instructors.

A bachelor's degree in education and driving credentials are required. The position supports on‑site teaching with flexible hours and a requirement to participate in required staff training and safety

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or equivalent experience.
• 1–2 years of related education experience required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction in Reading, Mathematics, CSS, Health Education, Driver's Education, or HSD/HSE as an on‑call substitute.
• Promote a positive classroom atmosphere and maximize student motivation.
• Maintain discipline to ensure effective learning and track student progress.
• Coordinate curriculum with career tech instructors and use available curricular resources.
• Maintain student folders and attendance records; document test scores and incidents.
• Assist with graduation exercises and adhere to all policies and safety practices.
