Job summary

Alutiiq Operations Services, LLC seeks an experienced HVAC Mechanic to support Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City, OK. The role performs repair, overhaul, maintenance and servicing of HVACR systems, requiring EPA 608 certification and a journeyman license.

Expect after-hours calls and strong adherence to safety rules. You will work with a range of HVAC equipment, using meters and gauges to diagnose issues and restore operations, while maintaining logs and communicating with supervisors and

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalency.
• EPA Universal Certification 608 Certification.
• Oklahoma Mechanical Journeyman Unlimited License with Heating and Air Condition.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• 2 years verifiable experience with infrared technology, ultrasound, or equivalent certification (PdM).

Responsibilities

• Repair, overhaul, maintain and service HVACR systems in commercial, industrial and residential settings.
• Inspect HVAC systems and diagnose faults; perform repairs as needed.
• Repair or replace thermostats, relays, switches and electrical wiring.
• Repair refrigeration compressors, motors, fans, belts and HVAC components.
• Service evaporators, condensers, receivers, coils and valves.
• Document inspections, maintenance and hours on daily work orders.
• Respond to after-hours call-outs as required.
• Interface with customers and ensure feedback.
• Adhere to safety rules and wear PPE.
• Operate company vehicles per policies.
