Requirements include HS diploma, 2+ years in trades, EPA Refrigeration license, valid REAL ID driver’s, and U.S. citizenship for access to military installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2+ years related experience in building/utility trades
• EPA Universal Refrigeration License required
• Valid REAL ID driver’s license or willingness to obtain one
• Pre-employment drug screening and background check required
• U.S. citizenship required for military installations access

Responsibilities

• Inspect, operate, or test machinery to diagnose malfunctions
• Record maintenance or repair work type and cost
• Clean or lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts
• Repair or replace defective equipment parts
• Perform routine preventive maintenance for machines and building systems
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluids; replace filters
• Dismantle devices to access parts; order parts and supplies
• Adjust functional parts or control instruments, operate welding equipment
