Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Omni Associate to support profitable sales growth by executing Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp.com activities across Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, and general operations.

You will greet customers, assist with finding products, process orders, and coordinate with Merchandise teams to replenish stock; you’ll pack orders, handle Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store tasks, and keep POS and stock areas organized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–2 years work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred; high school degree or equivalent is required.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales – greet and assist customers, deliver outstanding service, promote products and services, and work with team.
• Enterprise Fulfillment – monitor systems, pick orders, pack orders on time, and process Ship from Store / Buy Online Pickup in Store activities.
• jcp.com Operations – research order shortages/overages, perform shipment check-in, stock organization, and process deliveries and returns at register.
• General Operations – replenish store inventory with Merchandise, participate in annual inventory.
• Performance Standards – meet shrink, safety, omnichannel, profit, productivity, and attendance targets.

Job description

As the Omni Associate you are accountable for contributing to profitable sales growth by executing Enterprise Fulfillment and jcp.com activities and strategies to include Customer Service & Sales, Enterprise Fulfillment, jcp.com operations, and general operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Customer Service & Sales – greets and assists customers in finding products, delivers outstanding customer service, consistently demonstrates customer service behaviors, actively listens to customer issues in a calm and agreeable manner to resolve problems, actively promotes company products and services, and partners with team members effectively.
• Enterprise Fulfillment – monitors the Enterprise Fulfillment systems application, picks merchandise orders, and acknowledges completion in the system; accurately packs orders in accordance with packaging requirements and timelines; completes all Ship from Store and Buy Online Pickup in Store activities in a timely manner.
• jcp.com Operations – researches jcp.com order shortages/overages and completes shipment check‑in; completes order binning and system reporting to complete the jcp.com processes; assists with overall organization and maintenance of the jcp.com stock area; processes jcp.com order delivery and return transactions on the register.
• General Operations – partners with Merchandise Associates/Assistants to replenish store and/or takes personal action to replenish products from inventory; participates in the annual inventory process.
• Performance Standards – consistently meets established performance standards, including but not limited to: shrink and safety initiatives, omnichannel, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.

Core Competencies & Accomplishments:

• Work experience – minimum 1‑2 years.
• Education – bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred; high school degree or equivalent is required.

Pay Range

USD $12.00/Hr – USD $15.00/Hr.
