Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. is seeking a full-time packaging technician to support automated medication packaging operations in Orlando.

You will use the OnDemand Express III system to process prescriptions, package and ship medications, and help maintain inventory under supervisor direction. Ideal candidates have experience with robotic packaging systems, automation, and strong organizational and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic packaging systems.
• Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems.
• Previous experience in automated environments.
• Must be reliable and able to execute multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain the OnDemand Express III and other automated packaging systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and supplies.
• Maintain floor stock and remove expired medications.
• Rotate stock to ensure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk medications.
• Package and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
• Adhere to pharmacy operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate with team to meet pharmacy operational goals.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.

• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
