Job summary

Specialty Rx, Inc. in Texas is seeking a Licensed Pharmacy Technician to support automated packaging operations and maintain compliance with safety standards.

You will work with the OnDemand Express III system, assist in inventory control, and collaborate with the team to ensure timely, accurate medication fulfillment. Ideal candidates have pharmacy technician licensure in Texas, experience with robotic systems or automated environments, and strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Licensed Texas Pharmacy Technician required.
• Experience with robotic systems or automated environments.
• Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation preferred.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience, a plus.
• Strong analytical and attention to detail.
• Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Able to work under the direction of a supervisor
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications
• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor
