Job summary

SpecialtyRx in Florida is seeking a licensed Pharmacy Technician to support long-term care operations, including robotic packaging and automated dispensing systems.

You will assist under supervision, manage inventory, perform data entry, and ensure accuracy and safety in daily pharmacy workflow. Prior experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation is preferred; strong organizational and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Florida Pharmacy Technician.
• Experience with robotic packaging systems.
• Previous data entry experience preferred.
• Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred.
• Long Term Care pharmacy experience is a plus.
• Experience in automated environments.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Good organizational skills and detail oriented.
• Ability to physically perform light lifting.

Responsibilities

• Process prescriptions under supervision.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
