Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. in Orlando, FL is seeking an experienced technician to support robotic packaging operations in a busy long‑term care pharmacy.

You will process prescriptions using the OnDemand Express III, troubleshoot and maintain packaging systems, monitor inventory levels, and ensure accurate, timely medication delivery. The role emphasizes reliability, strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with robotic packaging systems.
• Experience with OnDemand Express III or similar automation systems preferred.
• Previous experience working in automated environment.
• Must be reliable and execute multiple tasks assigned.

Responsibilities

• Work under the direction of a supervisor.
• Process prescriptions using OnDemand Express III machine.
• Operate, troubleshoot and maintain OnDemand Express III machine and other automated packaging systems.
• Monitor inventory levels and storage conditions for medications and pharmacy supplies.
• Maintain floor stock, including restocking and timely removal of expired medications.
• Rotate stock of medication areas to assure quality controls.
• Prepack for floor bulk prescribed medications.
• Package, fill, and ship medications using robotic packaging equipment.
• Adherence to all pharmacy operational and safety standards.
• Collaborate as a team player to meet the operational goals of the pharmacy.
• Complete any other task assigned by the supervisor.
