Job summary

The Children's Guild is seeking a part-time OMHC Clinician to provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents in Baltimore, MD. You will conduct biopsychosocial assessments, create treatment plans, and deliver evidence-based interventions under supervision.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
  • Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure welcome to apply.
  • Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents.
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions under clinical supervision (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy).
  • Maintain compliant clinical documentation (COMAR, HIPAA).
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and school/community providers to coordinate care.
  • Engage families as essential partners in therapy.
  • Participate in supervision, meetings, and professional development.
  • Support crisis assessment and safety planning as needed.

Who We Are

The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance — one of the most experienced child‑serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

The Opportunity

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced, new or early‑career clinician to develop their skills in a structured, supportive, and mission-driven environment. As an OMHC Clinician, you will:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents experiencing mental health, behavioral, and trauma-related challenges
  • Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
  • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, school staff, and community providers to coordinate care
  • Engage families as active, essential partners in the therapeutic process
  • Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development
  • Support crisis assessment and safety planning as needed
What We're Looking For
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
  • Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LCSW, LGPC or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure welcome to apply
  • Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families with diverse mental health needs
  • Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Self‑motivated with strong organizational and time-management skills
