The Children's Guild is seeking a Therapist/Clinician to join our Outpatient Mental Health Center (OMHC) team across Maryland and Washington, D.C. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents and collaborate with a multidisciplinary staff.

We offer supervised licensure support, competitive salary, comprehensive medical/dental/vision benefits, and a sign-on bonus of $6,000, with 11 or 12 month salaried positions and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field.
• Maryland/DC licensure (LMSW, LGPC or equivalent)
• Strong passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to work in multidisciplinary teams
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply

Responsabilités

• Deliver evidence-based interventions under clinical supervision (CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy).
• Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with COMAR and HIPAA.

• Engage families as active partners in therapy.

Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity for a new or early-career clinician to grow their skills in a supportive, mission-driven environment. As a Therapist/Clinician, you will:

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff
• Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Benefits

11 or 12 months salaried positions with benefits and generous time off. Per Session option available. Clinical consultation groups and on-going free training with CEUs to meet requirements for licensure. Orientation and training modules before starting position with on-going mentoring and support. Provided with device and phone, while not being on-call. Individual and Group supervision towards advanced licensure for LMSWs and LGPCs.

Bonus Structure**

We offer a sign-on bonus totaling $6,000.

• 90 Days: $2,000
• 6 Months: $2,000
• 1 year: $2,000

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
• Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure encouraged to apply
• Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
• Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
