The Children's Guild is hiring a Therapist/Clinician for our Outpatient Mental Health Center at multiple Maryland and Washington, D.C. locations. You will provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field (required).
• LMSW/LGPC or equivalent licensure; Maryland or DC licensure path encouraged to apply.
• Experience with children, adolescents, and families preferred.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based modalities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents.
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver CBT/TF-CBT and play therapy under clinical supervision.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff.
• Engage families as active partners in treatment.
• Participate in supervision, meetings, and ongoing professional development.

The Children's Guild is a nonprofit organization and affiliate of TranZed Alliance— one of the most experienced child-serving organizations in the Greater Baltimore/Washington region. Our OMHC provides evidence-based, trauma-informed outpatient mental health services to children, adolescents, and families across multiple locations in Maryland and Washington, D.C.

Our interdisciplinary team includes therapists, clinicians, psychiatrists, case managers, and school-based professionals — all united by a shared commitment to helping every child thrive.

The Opportunity

Skills

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and adolescents with diverse mental health needs
• Conduct biopsychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, TF-CBT, play therapy) under clinical supervision
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with COMAR, HIPAA, and agency standards
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, case managers, and school staff
• Engage families as active partners in the therapeutic process
• Participate in clinical supervision, team meetings, and ongoing professional development

Benefits

11 or 12 months salaried positions with benefits and generous time off. Per Session option available. Clinical consultation groups and on-going free training with CEUs to meet requirements for licensure. Orientation and training modules before starting position with on-going mentoring and support. Provided with device and phone, while not being on-call. Individual and Group supervision towards advanced licensure for LMSWs and LGPCs.

Bonus Structure

We offer a sign-on bonus totaling $6,000.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field (required)
• Graduate licensure in Maryland or D.C. (LMSW, LGPC, or equivalent); candidates awaiting licensure encouraged to apply
• Genuine passion for working with children, adolescents, and families
• Basic knowledge of trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Bilingual candidates strongly encouraged to apply
