Job summary

Administration & Operations is seeking a Dentist for VA with EDRP eligibility. The incumbent must hold a DDS/DMD from an approved school and a current US dental license, and may have completed a residency or have equivalent experience. Board certification is preferred.

The role includes overseeing two OMS residents from Meharry and Vanderbilt, handling complex extractions, implants, and bone grafting, in collaboration with staff dentists and specialists. Office-based with electronic charting.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD from CODA-approved program or equivalent
• Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in a US state/territory/DC
• Residency in general practice or specialty, or equivalent experience
• Board certification preferred (not required)

Responsibilities

• Oversight of 2 OMS residents from Meharry and Vanderbilt.
• OMS practice includes complex extraction cases, dental implants, bone grafting, TMJ treatment.
• Collaborate with staff dentists and specialists to plan and execute patient care.
• Utilize digital charting and electronic records in daily workflow.

Education

Doctor of Dental Surgery or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DDS/DMD)

Current unrestricted dental license in the United States

Residency in general practice or specialty (or equivalent experience)

Board certification preferred
