Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a General Dentist to provide a full range of dental procedures, including exams, restorations, extractions, prosthetics, and endodontics, within the medical center's credentialing process. This position follows a standard 7:30am-5:00pm schedule, with Friday 7:30am-4:00pm every other week and compress/flexible options.

Responsibilities

• Make oral and radiographic examinations of the oral cavity
• Diagnose pathological or irregular oral conditions
• Administer local anesthesia
• Perform routine and complex restoration of teeth
• Perform simple and complex extractions of teeth
• Perform alveoloplasty and other routine surgical procedures
• Perform prosthetic dentistry including dentures and crowns
• Perform routine endodontic procedures on single and multi-canal teeth
• Work within the credentialing and privileging process of the medical center
