Job summary

Linde Inc. in Garfield, UT, United States, seeks a Manager – Reliability Center Maintenance to lead reliability and maintenance excellence across regional plants. You will oversee TARs, outages, and a robust maintenance program ensuring safety, efficiency, and cost discipline.

You will implement reliability initiatives, manage capital spend, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, training staff and collaborating with engineering resources across the region.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree with 5+ years in industrial reliability or maintenance (or 10+ years).
  • Experience leading emergency maintenance response and planned outages.
  • Strong understanding of industry maintenance standards and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Self-starter capable of managing multiple priorities with minimal supervision.
  • 10+ years of relevant industrial operations/engineering/reliability/maintenance experience.
  • At least 3 years of P&L responsibility.
  • Experience with air separation assets and operations.
  • Experience with CMMS (Infor Hexagon), IMMS (ProCal), and ERP (JD Edwards).

Responsibilities

  • Ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality work with appropriate technical discipline across Reliability Center personnel.
  • Plan and execute turnarounds (TARs) and outages per Linde planning process.
  • Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to improve safety and reliability of regional plants.
  • Optimize maintenance-related capital and operating expenditures for the Reliability Center.
  • Ensure implementation of reliability programs and strategies across the region.
  • Oversee SMPs and Technical Standards; manage spare parts inventory processes.
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement to meet productivity goals.
  • Provide technical expertise in consultation with engineering resources as needed.
  • Foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture and develop training for personnel.

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will be responsible for ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality work with the appropriate level of technical discipline and rigor across Reliability Center personnel, while ensuring a safe, timely, and effective response to all asset-related issues within the region
  • Plan and execute turnarounds (TARs) and outages in accordance with the Linde planning process
  • Identify opportunities and implement initiatives to improve the safety and reliability of regional plants
  • Optimize maintenance-related capital and operating expenditures for the Reliability Center while assisting plants in optimizing maintenance spend
  • Ensure the effective implementation of reliability programs and strategies across the region, including Hexagon/ProCal utilization, PM/PdM programs, RCA programs, spare parts inventory management processes, and adherence to Standard
  • Maintenance Practices (SMPs) and Technical Standards
  • Establish a culture of continuous improvement to meet productivity goals for the Reliability Center and regional plants.
  • Provide technical expertise, in consultation with engineering resources, as needed
  • Further, you will foster a collaborative, team-oriented culture within the Reliability Center by ensuring the effective development and training of all personnel
What Makes You Great
  • You have a degree in Engineering with at least 5 years of industrial reliability or maintenance experience, or a minimum of 10 years of industrial reliability or maintenance experience
  • Have experience leading and executing emergency maintenance response and planned outages for industrial plants
  • Possess a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices for the installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive/predictive maintenance of industrial systems and equipment, including compressors, turbines, high-speed rotating equipment, motors, electrical distribution systems, and substations
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and team collaboration skills
  • Moreover, you are a self-starter who effectively manages multiple priorities under time and cost constraints, appropriately balances competing demands, and delivers results with minimal supervision
  • You are experienced in industrial operations, engineering, reliability, or maintenance, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
  • Have at least 3 years of profit and loss (P&L) responsibility
  • Possess experience with air separation processes, assets, and operations
  • Have experience with CMMS platforms (such as Infor Hexagon), IMMS systems (such as ProCal), and ERP systems (such as JD Edwards)
