Job summary

Think Together is seeking an Older Youth Academic Instructor to deliver high-quality, standards-aligned academic instruction for middle and high school students during after-school hours in California. You will use approved curricula and educational technology to support credit-bearing coursework and track student progress.

The role requires punctuality, collaboration with site staff and a commitment to maintaining a respectful learning environment, while following district and program policies.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and write Standard English appropriate in a public-school setting.
• Minimum age of 22
• Must pass Live Scan (criminal background check via fingerprinting) TB Test
• Educational related credential strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction using approved curriculum and complete documentation.
• Support academic growth of older youth students using direct instruction and educational technology.
• Use traditional direct instruction to monitor and document student progress.
• Provide core academic instruction and document course completion.
• Collaborate with staff, teachers, administrators and parents.
