As an assistant teacher, you will enjoy a classroom with a strong foundation of systems to help easily maintain a clean, safe, and healthy classroom. The hours are 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m, Monday-Friday. Prior experience working with young children is preferred.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma-minimum
- Preferred minimum of at least 6 months to 1 year of direct infant/toddler teaching experience
- Reliable transportation to school location daily
- Ability to work full time schedule, Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm (this is a set schedule)
- Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain positive parent communication and family relationships
- Implement daily schedule and age-appropriate lesson plans
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Conduct individual and group activities to promote social, emotional, and cognitive development
- Work directly with Lead Teacher to meet classroom goals
- Maintain electronic daily sheets for each child
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
