Job summary

Hopkins Public Schools seeks a Native Language Grant Coordinator to lead Ojibwe curriculum development for Native language revitalization across multiple learning environments. The role connects district leadership with elders, families, educators, and AIPAC to create culturally grounded content and sustain grant-funded initiatives.

The coordinator will align curricula with community priorities, manage resources, and collaborate with the IDL team to support the Hopkins Learning Framework.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Native language revitalization and Indigenous education.
• Experience developing culturally grounded curriculum and learning materials.
• Experience aligning curriculum across multiple educational settings.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage grant-related responsibilities and reporting timelines.
• Ability to travel between district sites and community locations.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee the Native Language Grant with alignment to goals, timelines, and budget.
• Maintain grant documentation and support data collection, evaluation, and reporting.
• Serve as liaison between district leadership, grant partners, and AIPAC.
• Collaborate with elders, educators, and community partners to develop Ojibwe curriculum.
• Develop resources supporting language preservation and learner engagement.
• Review curriculum to ensure quality, relevance, and alignment with standards.
• Contribute to Hopkins Learning Framework through curricular resources.
