Job summary

Black Mesa Casino is seeking a friendly restaurant server to provide food service to guests, greet patrons, and deliver orders accurately in a fast-paced dining room. The role requires at least 6 months of food service experience, strong customer service, teamwork and a willingness to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and set tables for seating; deliver food orders to guests.
• Take and relay orders accurately and answer questions about the menu.
• Clean and prepare tables for the next seating and assist with restaurant cleanup at shift end.
• Announce daily specials and inform guests about recommendations.
• Report equipment malfunctions and maintain clean, hygienic dining areas.
• Observe guests to identify additional service opportunities and upsell where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications

• Six (6) months’ experience in food preparation in a restaurant, kitchen or dining area; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Sufficient strength to carry food trays.

Good Mobility to deliver drinks and food to guests

Visual acuity and hearing are sufficient to take orders and prepare bill in a fast-paced environment.
