Job summary

Bally's Corporation in Baton Rouge is seeking a Restaurant Supervisor to oversee daily guest service and maintain high standards of quality and presentation across the dining areas. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Ensure consistent high-quality service to all our team members and guests.
• Maintain guest service standards and ensure team members perform those standards to achieve a favorable gaming experience for guests.
• Assist the culinary teams in quality checks for all food and beverage presentations and displays throughout the division.
• Monitor all wait stations, host stand, and general appearance of the restaurant to assure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.
• Assist in establishing standards of performance, quality of products, service, staffing levels/cost and food/beverage cost.
• Oversee the inventory. Maintain and order inventory as needed to serve guests.
• Monitor staffing levels to ensure budgetary compliance.
• Manage escalated guest service issues appropriately and discreetly.
• Have knowledge of guest alcohol limitations and company policy and procedure regarding limitations.
• Communicates pertinent information to senior staff, surveillance, or other necessary team members that is important to the operation of the casino.
• Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies.
• Ensure satisfaction to guests.
• Follow lawful directions from supervisors.
• Uphold the company's non-disclosure and confidentiality policies and agreements.
• Interact well with others and be a positive influence on team member morale.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule as required by business operations, including late nights, weekends, and holidays; shifts may change.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL EFFORTS

• The hospitality industry is a 24 Hour 365-day operation.
• This position will primarily be indoors under controlled temperatures.
• Occasional exposure to outdoor climates
• Occasional: standing, walking, and lift up to 25 pounds, including lifting overhead.
• Frequent: sitting, kneeling, reaching, pulling, pushing, and with repetitive movement of fingers, legs, arms, and hands
• Required to be able to taste and smell food items to ensure quality and flavor levels.
• Speech and Vision abilities are required.

Target Compensation Range

• $21.10 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience

• Gaming industry experience is preferred. (preferred)
• Must have a professional demeanor and presence with the ability to interact with guests and team members in the Company. (preferred)
• Must possess excellent teamwork, interpersonal, guest service, written and verbal communication skills. (preferred)
• At least three years of supervisory experience in restaurant operations, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. (preferred)
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. (preferred)
