Job summary

Axis Energy Services is seeking a Floor Hand to join a 4-5 person workover rig crew in Casper, WY. You will assist in rigging, lifting tubing and casing, and supporting the rig crew to complete well servicing operations with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include operating rig tools, maintaining equipment, and adhering to company policies. The role requires long shifts, travel as needed, and ability to lift up to 75 lbs in a fast-paced oilfield environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum knowledge: basic oilfield well servicing.
• At least 1 year rig floor operation experience.
• Valid state driver license with acceptable MVR.
• Ability to communicate in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist the operator in rigging up and down the well service rig.
• Set hydraulic jacks and attach guy wires as directed.
• Operate rod wrenches, tongs, elevators during well servicing.
• Assist in lifting and laying down tubing, rods and casing.
• Maintain and service rig hand tools and equipment.
• Help dismantle and repair oilfield machinery and components.
• Report safety hazards and maintenance issues to the Rig Supervisor.
• Work safely in various weather conditions and travel as required.
