Job summary

LUFKIN US Acquisitions Company LLC seeks a Field Service Technician I to support the Field Manager in installing, inspecting, and repairing oilfield pumping units. You will assist with rig-up/down of equipment, and perform hands-on tasks in shop, yard, or on-site locations.

The role involves operating various equipment, potential remote site travel, and adherence to safety standards. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with experience in pumping unit work preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution OR applicable pumping unit experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a Field Manager, perform tasks associated with operation, rig-up/down of equipment & tools in shop, yard, or location.
• Perform duties focused on installation, inspection, and repair of Oilfield Pumping Units.
• Hands-on manipulation of equipment and systems requiring precise instrumentation.
• Be trained in operating more than one type of equipment or combinations of equipment/processes as per competency development program.
• Assist with product efforts and equipment tasks, including bucket truck aerial lift, crane rig up, and motor/truck operations.
• Carry out safety protocols and adhere to site-specific safety requirements.
