Job summary

French Ellison Truck Center in Corpus Christi, TX is seeking a Fabricator/Welder to fabricate, weld, and repair oilfield equipment. Previous experience preferred; excellent benefits offered.

You will work from drawings and blueprints, maintain tolerances, and follow safety procedures. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds regularly, overtime as needed, and the ability to work outdoors in weather.

Qualifications

• Formal technical training or equivalent experience preferred.
• Experience in fabrication and welding on metal and aluminum.
• Able to handle heavy materials manually and with machinery.
• General tools to perform minor mechanical duties.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Able to read and interpret shop orders, repair manuals, blueprints.
• Proficient with computer keyboard and Windows basics.
• Able to work outdoors in weather conditions.
• Willing to work 8–10 hour days with overtime as needed.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb regularly and 100 lb occasionally.
• Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
