Job summary

Iron Horse Tools Inc. is seeking a dependable Welder for our West Texas team. The ideal candidate has extensive hands-on welding experience and can work independently while producing high-quality welds in line with industry standards and safety requirements.

Oilfield experience is preferred. This role requires lifting, physical stamina, and the ability to work in heat and noisy environments, with a focus on accuracy and strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 2+ years welding experience required (Pipe, Stick, Structural).
• Fitting experience is preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow work instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand/power tools.
• Basic understanding of pressure control equipment preferred.
• Ability to read measuring tools and follow instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Weld in multiple positions (vertical, horizontal, overhead).
• Weld structural components per specifications.
• Inspect welds for quality and standards compliance.
• Operate welding machines, grinders, torches safely and efficiently.
• Support technicians and fabricators with builds and repairs.
• Inspect parts and equipment for damage and wear.
• Load/unload materials and finished equipment.
• Maintain welding equipment and keep area clean and organized.
• Follow all safety policies and industry regulations.
