Job summary

Salamander Solutions is seeking an experienced Electrical Field Engineer to support field installation, commissioning, and servicing of downhole heater systems and surface electrical equipment. This hands-on role requires oilfield electrical experience and offers broad technical exposure in field execution.

Qualifications

3–7 years of oil & gas electrical field experience.
Experience with control panels, switchgear, PLC and SCR systems.

Responsibilities

Install and commission low- and medium-voltage equipment.
Support system startup and commissioning activities.
Oversee or support medium-voltage splicing and terminations.
Troubleshoot recurring electrical issues and implement field solutions.
Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled testing.
Provide on-site technical guidance to customers and field crews.
Contribute to improving field procedures and equipment reliability.
