Job summary

Ace Resources, LLC is seeking a qualified Electrician to support oil and gas field operations in Pecos, Texas. You will maintain, install, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize electrical equipment critical to production and safety.

The role requires at least 3 years of relevant experience, knowledge of industry electrical codes, and the ability to work a schedule that includes weekends and 24-hour call coverage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum 3 years of related electrical work experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical codes and standards in oil & gas.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, panels, motors, and field equipment.
• Ability to work Monday–Friday with weekend rotation and 24-hour call coverage.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, install, troubleshoot, repair, and optimize electrical equipment for oil & gas field operations.
• Install and maintain electrical motors, control panels, conduit, wiring, grounding systems, surge protection, and ESP surface equipment.
• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including line fuses, reclosers, underground cable, POCs, and control systems.
• Support safe and reliable production operations while communicating electrical issues and required repairs to supervisors.
• Maintain company vehicle, electrical tools, and equipment; participate in a 24-hour call rotation and weekend rotation as required.

• Perform electrical troubleshooting, including line fuses, reclosers, underground cable, POCs, and control systems.
• Support safe and reliable production operations while communicating electrical issues and required repairs to supervisors.
• Maintain company vehicle, electrical tools, and equipment; participate in a 24-hour call rotation and weekend rotation as required.

• Working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards within the oil & gas industry.
• Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems, control panels, motors, and field equipment.
• Ability to work Monday-Friday, participate in weekend rotation and 24-hour call coverage, and work overtime as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working as an electrician in oil & gas production or field operations.
• Experience with high-voltage electrical systems, hot sticks, line fuses, and reclosers.
• Experience installing and troubleshooting control panels, conduit, wiring, grounding systems, and ESP surface equipment.
• Familiarity with electrical safety, process safety, emergency response, risk management, and management-of-change practices.
• PEC Safeland Certification and ANSI Z390.1-2017 instructor-led H2S training.
