The Bergaila Companies in Texas is seeking a hands-on Compressor Operator to support gas compression operations and safety in the field.

In this role, you will monitor equipment, document performance, and collaborate with foremen, mechanics, and lease operators to optimize efficiency. The position requires strong mechanical aptitude, oilfield experience, and willingness to be on-call and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mechanical or oilfield-related experience required.
• Prior compressor gas lift operations experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with CAT 3500, 3600, and Ariel compressors preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Manage and monitor daily compressor operations, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Maintain accurate operational reports and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with foremen, mechanics, and lease operators to troubleshoot issues and optimize equipment performance.
• Assist with repairs and mechanical troubleshooting when needed.
• Be available for on-call duties and travel as required.
