Job summary

Danos, LLC in Delhi, LA is seeking an experienced Compressor/Oilfield Mechanic to support oilfield operations. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on compressors, pumps, and related mechanical equipment used in oil and gas operations.

The role requires hands-on experience with oilfield equipment, the ability to work independently or with a field maintenance team, and strict adherence to safety and onboarding requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in oilfield mechanical/maintenance is required.
• Experience working with compressors is required.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, bearings, alignments, and mechanical seals is preferred.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills are essential.
• Ability to safely use hand tools and power tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field maintenance team.
• Must meet safety and onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on compressors and oilfield equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment and components.
• Maintain centrifugal pumps, bearings, seals, and related equipment.
• Perform equipment and shaft alignments.
• Inspect equipment for wear or failures.
• Replace bearings, seals, pumps, and components.
• Assist with installation, changeouts, and startup as needed.
• Complete routine maintenance safely and efficiently.
• Follow all company and site safety procedures.
