Job summary

Danos in Carlsbad, NM is hiring a Compressor Mechanic to operate, troubleshoot and repair natural gas engines, pumps and associated equipment. You will work with engine control systems and production equipment, performing preventative maintenance and responsive repairs to minimize downtime.

The role requires 3+ years of Oil & Gas mechanical experience, safety‑conscious teamwork and the ability to pass background checks and physical requirements. Training and PPE are provided.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Oil & Gas mechanical experience with pumps, compressors and engines.

Responsibilities

• Operate, troubleshoot and repair natural gas engines, pumps and compressors.
• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and major/minor repairs.
• Inspect engine control systems and use Caterpillar ET for tuning and diagnostics.
• Identify and report spills or leaks and follow safety protocols.
