Job summary

Primoris Heavy Civil seeks a dependable Oiler (Lube Technician) to service heavy construction equipment across civil projects. You will perform lubrication, preventive maintenance, fluid checks, inspections, and minor repairs, ensuring uptime and safe operations.

The role requires a CDL with Hazmat and a current DOT medical card, with at least three years' experience. Travel to project sites may be necessary; you will maintain records, read service manuals, and support fleet teams to promote a

Qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience servicing heavy construction equipment in civil, mining, or industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of oils, lubricants, filtration systems and preventive maintenance.
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, safety procedures and maintenance schedules.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, and trucks.
• Service equipment with fuels, oils, lubricants, coolants and other fluids as required.
• Inspect equipment daily for leaks, wear, damage, and safety concerns.
• Maintain oil sample records and PM documentation.
• Perform filter changes and routine service per manufacturer and company standards.
• Identify mechanical issues and communicate needs to Leaders and mechanics.
• Assist with basic mechanical repairs and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Operate service and fuel trucks safely in DOT-compliant manner.
• Keep records of services, hours, and fluid usage; maintain clean work areas.
• Support project crews and promote a team-first environment.
