Fuji Vegetable Oil, Inc. is hiring a Processing Technician for our Savannah, GA plant. The role involves handling, processing, blending, and loading edible oil while operating plant equipment. It requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays and night shifts, with overtime possible.

The position starts at $24.00 per hour on a swing shift and is available immediately. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, 401(k) company match, and paid time off, with PPE and boot vouchers provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of related experience/training preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer-driven process equipment, steam boilers, and wastewater treatment systems.
• Sample, measure, inventory, and monitor tank temperatures.
• Receive and store chemicals, ingredients, and miscellaneous supplies.
• Blend and transfer oil using valves; check heat tracing and line clearing.
• Monitor and adjust wastewater system controls, pH levels, and chemical dosing.
• Oversee boiler operations including water feed and fuel conversion systems.
• Contain and clean oil spills when necessary.
• Clean and change industrial filters.
• Prepare equipment for startup, shutdown, freeze plans, and hazardous weather.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform minor repairs on processing equipment.
• Drive a forklift to move production materials.
• Clean and maintain processing areas and equipment.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
