Job summary

Fuji Vegetable Oil, Inc. in Savannah, GA is seeking a Processing Technician to operate and maintain edible oil processing equipment, handle blending, packaging, and bulk loading, and support continuous production. This swing shift role may require weekends, holidays, and nights with overtime possible.

Starting pay is $24.00/hr. Benefits start Day One and include health insurance, PTO/holidays, 401(k) with company contribution, life and disability coverage, and boot vouchers with PPE and uniforms.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least six months of related experience/training preferred.
• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Operate process equipment, boilers, and wastewater systems.
• Sample, measure, inventory, and monitor tank temperatures.
• Receive and store chemicals, ingredients, and supplies.
• Blend and transfer oil using valves; check heat tracing and line clearing.
• Monitor wastewater system controls, pH levels, and chemical dosing.
• Troubleshoot, maintain, and perform minor repairs on processing equipment.
• Drive a forklift to move production materials.
