Job summary

SGS is seeking a Laboratory Technician to safely conduct analysis and reporting of products, including oils and lubricants. You will perform hands-on bench work, generate reports, and assist with calibration and maintenance of lab instruments.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, and preference for an Associates degree in science with some lab experience. The role offers overtime eligibility and a compensation package with standard benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates Degree in science preferred.
• 1-year laboratory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety and reporting practices expected.
• Ability to prepare chemical solutions and maintain bench procedures.

Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory analysis on bench and report results.
• Complete laboratory reports and maintain documentation.
• Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment as needed.
• Follow all laboratory safety and reporting procedures.
• Prepare chemical solutions according to standard formulas.
